Location: Ballymount, Dublin

Role Overview:

We’re seeking a skilled Traffic Desk Manager to oversee our Dublin operations. You’ll manage a busy traffic planning desk, ensuring smooth and efficient operations, addressing any issues, and supporting our team in delivering top-notch service.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure the traffic desk is fully staffed and operating efficiently.

Train and mentor staff on company processes.

Handle escalated driver and customer issues, resolving them promptly.

Coordinate with the Fleet Manager to schedule vehicle maintenance.

Ensure all transport contracts are serviced accurately and on time.

Manage driver holidays, timekeeping, and performance reviews.

Collaborate with the Transport Operations Manager to address and resolve operational issues.

Generate and delegate reports as needed.

Requirements:

Recent experience as a Traffic Manager or Senior Transport Planner.

Strong knowledge of Ireland’s geography and transport legislation.

Excellent communication skills across all business levels.

High proficiency in IT systems.

Problem-solving skills and strong time management.

Flexible approach to working hours.

Terms:

Permanent role, Monday to Friday (Day Shift).

Weekend rotation: 1 in 4.

Salary: €50,000 – €60,000 (based on experience).
