Driving Force are excited to be working with one of Irelands premier chauffeur companies, we are looking for experienced transport planners to work in this unique opportunity based close to Dublin Airport.


your responsibilities will include:

Assisting in transportation planning using our advanced Transport Management System (TMS) and other software tools to help plan and monitor transportation routes efficiently.

* Working closely with internal teams to gather necessary information, helping to align transportation plans with business objectives and ensuring smooth operations.

* Monitoring day-to-day transportation activities, identifying potential issues, and assisting in developing solutions to minimise disruptions.

* Keeping accurate records of transportation schedules, costs, and performance, and aiding in the preparation of reports as needed.

* Staying informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices to support compliance and service improvement.

* Supporting the reservations team by entering new bookings into the system and assisting with email and phone communication.

* Communicating effectively with drivers, affiliate partners, and clients to maintain high-quality, reliable service.

* Demonstrating flexibility in shift work and adapting to varying working hours according to operational demands.


* Experience or strong interest in transport planning or similar roles within the transport industry.

* Basic knowledge of Transport Management Systems (TMS) and willingness to learn how to manage transportation operations using these tools.

* Good analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks at once.

* Familiarity with transportation industry regulations and requirements is a plus.

* Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.

* The ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and result-oriented approach in operational environments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €32,000.00-€35,000.00 per year
